Decided to head back over to San Antonio for the evening to enjoy the sunset (we have to return the car tomorrow) . We'd also heard that Pete Tong would be spinning at Cafe Savannah. So we get there, happy to see several open tables, but when we asked to be seated we were told that if we sat down we were up for a €200 minimum charge... Okaaaay, why so much? Well the sunset you see & oh Pete Tong is spinning.
We passed, walked 50 ft over to the next cafe & spent a lovely evening watching the free nightly phenomenon known as the sunset, cocktail in hand... As twilight descended, on the tiny rocky beach in front of the cafe, people lit big white paper lanterns & released them into the sky. They looked magical as they hung suspended in the air...
A couple of hours later we walked past cafe Savannah, where we were begged to sit with the lure of free drinks (Pete Tong had still not started to spin...). Yeah for some people that was one hell of an expensive sunset!
