Took a trip into Port Louis to see the Botanical Gardens at Pamplemousse. Famous for its giant lilly pads & Talipot palms that flower only once every 100 years after which they die (thanks for that info Bean!). We were fortunate to see one in bloom. It wasn't that spectacular to see but interesting none the less.
