Zen Frog... We swear this little guy did not move the entire time we were at Rhino River - in fact it was still in the same spot when we came back for the 2nd time! Total state of zen!
The termite hills have eyes... Their mounds get as big as some houses & extend up to something ridiculous, like a quarter mile underground. This guy was about 1" big - Decks beware!
This guy was waiting for us back in our room. Not everyone is affraid of Chris's shoes....
The Golden Orb Spider has a web that is as strong as piano wire! Birds can sometimes get caught in it's web even though they are not it's meal of choice...
This spider likes Jack Russells for breakfast... This hairy little guy likes to build it's web all the way across the road (massive webs!!!). Duzi dog was unfortunate enough to be in his usual spot at the front of the truck when we hit one. You should have seen the look of total disgust he gave Dale for driving through it. We were picking dead bugs off of each other all night...
Sure he looks innocent now....
